SERMON FOR THE END OF JULY 2024, URSHERING IN THE NEW MONTH OF AUGUST 2024,
“Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” (Lamentations 3:22-23)
Introduction:
As we bid farewell to July and welcome August, let us reflect on God’s faithfulness and love. Despite challenges and uncertainties, we can trust in His compassions, which are new every morning.
New Mercies for a New Month:
– Just as God’s mercies are new every morning, He offers new opportunities and blessings for each new month.
– August brings a fresh start, a chance to renew our commitment to God and His purposes.
Faithfulness in the Face of Uncertainty:
– Lamentations 3:22-23 reminds us of God’s faithfulness, even in difficult times.
– As we step into August, let us hold onto His faithfulness, trusting in His goodness and sovereignty.
Embracing the Unknown with Hope:
– The new month brings unknown possibilities and challenges.
– With faith and hope, we can face the future, knowing God is with us and will guide us.
Conclusion:
As we usher in August 2024, let us:
– Celebrate God’s faithfulness and love
– Embrace new opportunities and blessings
– Trust in His sovereignty and goodness
– Face the future with hope and confidence
